Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Lauani, I was born and raised in Brazil. Later on in life, I took the leap of coming to the United States as an Au Pair—Since moving to the U.S in 2018, I’ve been responsible for the complete child-care routine for four girls under the age of five—from wake-time to bedtime and everything in between. I enjoy cooking healthy and organic vegetarian meals for them and make sure that each lunch box is packed with something different each day.

I’m proud to say that each girl understands and speaks Portuguese fluently according to their age. As you can imagine, this kind of job required an intense level of organization, cleanliness, time-management, and above all, focus. During my working time, your child will be my only focus. I do not look for things to merely occupy children, I plan meaningful activities, exercises, or experiences that promote the social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth of the child.

I am passionate, animated and hard working. Most importantly, in my experience, there is always that one special thing, activity, or bit of affection that will make a child light up with their brightest smile—and discovering this is what makes my job so gratifying.
