Hi I’m Lydia!
I’ve always loved children and started babysitting at 12 years old. I love playing with kids and connecting over our shared interests whether that is an art project, a science and nature walk, reading a really great book, or running around outside.
Throughout high school and college I worked with many different families caring for children from ages 3 months to 12 years old. Since college, my childcare experiences have been mostly volunteer work with the Philadelphia Childcare Collective which provides free childcare in support of grassroots and activist groups.
I have a degree in neuroscience and for the past 2 years I worked in sleep science lab at UPenn. I’m looking for occasional and/or part time babysitting work while I focus on writing, painting, and volunteer work.
