I am college student going to school for Environmental studies, and I am currently still working towards my degree. I have always been a super positive person which is why I think I work well with young kids, I have tons of energy to match theirs. Since I got into the workforce I have been working with children; I started as a birthday party host at a bounce house emporium. I would organize the games that I would get the kids to participate in the party, all while maintaining a safe environment. Then I moved onto being a summer camp counselor for a little while at a ranch. It was a sleep away camp where the kids would be able to choose between a whole list of activities for the day. I would coordinate Theatre, Swimming, Hiking, Horse Back Riding, etc and then be in charge of teaching/supervising that activity for the day with 10-30 campers. Most recently I was a swim teacher for a few years. I would have mostly private lessons throughout out the day with babies from a few months old to teens in high school, and then group lessons towards the end for the kids on swim teams. Throughout all these jobs I have really enjoyed them because of the relationships that I get to cultivate with both kids and parents. I still keep in touch with many of my former students , now via zoom calls. I have had babysitting gigs intermixed throughout my working years, and mostly because of the people I would meet at the jobs I had. I react very quickly to situations as they arise, and I have great ideas when it comes to entertainment. I have been always loved to cook & bake so I find it comes easy, and I can maintain a high level of cleanliness. I also have no problem cleaning up messes, it just happens.
