Hello! My name is Stephanie and I’ve been working with children since I was child myself! My childcare experience began when I was in middle school and I would babysit my younger siblings and cousins. I now hold a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a New Jersey K-6 certification. My student teaching through the University of Maryland was in a first and fifth grade classroom, which gifted me a vast experience for engaging children in an educational setting. I have 6 years of experience working as an outdoor summer camp counselor for children aged 5 to 13. I was then promoted in 2017, and now have 3 years of experience as an Assistant Director at the same summer camp. These positions have helped me learn fun and creative ways to keep kids active and engaged all summer long. I also have a little under 1 year of experience as a babysitter for children ages 6 weeks to 7 years through the YMCA babysitting room. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I love working with children and infants, and I’m happy to plan outdoor activities, indoor crafts, meals, and any kind of supplementary school tutoring you may be interested in!
