Hi! My name is Kelly Weigold. I am a college student at the University of South Carolina, but live in Greenwich, Connecticut. I’m majoring in International Studies with both a Portuguese and English minor. I will be in Nantucket looking for work from May-June 2015.

My summers typically consist of teaching young sailors how to navigate a boat. As a sailing instructor, I usually am teaching kids aged 6-16yrs and I have a zest for instilling the love of sailing in the minds of young people. I have taught at multiple yacht clubs in CT, and have even taught at Nantucket Community Sailing for a summer. (Loved it!) I will be in Nantucket in from mid May to mid June this Summer, and would love to meet some great families while there. I have regularly babysat for families since I was in middle school, and am very experienced. In addition, I have three rowdy younger brothers, whom I’ve learned to take care of courtesy of my mother, who is an elementary school teacher. Like my mom, I tutor elementary and middle school aged kids during the school year. I have been babysitting since I was 14, and am a very organized and responsible person. Some things about me… as well as children, I also love animals, (my dog is so spoiled). I love the simple things in life, like eating dark chocolate and passing the football around with my brothers. The beach is the best place in the world in my opinion (hence the reason for my visit to Nantucket). I’d love to get to know your children, so shoot me a message!
