Hi All!
My name is Sophie Jardine, I am 23 years old and live in Brooklyn. I grew up in Westchester, NY and moved to Japan at the age of 10. I lived in Tokyo for 4 years and learned a lot about Japanese culture and know some of the language. While in Japan I took care of kids in my building, getting comfortable with the idea of babysitting. I moved back to NY as a teenager and started babysitting again, this time for longer hours and more consistently. I went to school for Fine Arts, majoring in Painting and Drawing, and minoring in Art History. I absolutely love all things arts and crafts as well as outdoor activities. If I’m not drawing I’m outside running, biking, doing yoga, and enjoying the fresh air. I love children and I love learning from them. It is so important to encourage, support, and uplift kids, especially during these times. I am certified in CPR as well as infant CPR. I have 7 years of babysitting and babysat a family of four boys for 5 of those years. I traveled most places with them and saw them everyday of the week, as well as helped clean up around the house and driving. I am extremely organized and am told I clean too often!
