Hi! My name is Sam, I’m NYC-based sitter looking to get to know some wonderful families.

I’m a full time 2nd grade teacher on the Upper West Side, so I’m mainly looking to connect with folks who need an occasional sitter on evenings and weekends. Happy to jump in for the sporadic date night, weekend commitment, or moment when you just need another set of hands.

I’m goofy, patient, and fully vaccinated. I’m also always happy to help with homework, and have experience teaching different elementary levels. In my free time, I love to hike, watch movies, read, and make theater.

My time as a teacher, babysitter, camp counselor, and community mentor has allowed me to get to know kids of different ages, backgrounds, and personality types. I know finding a sitter online can be a bit uncertain, so I’m happy to connect and exchange as much info as you’d like to ensure a comfortable partnership.

I have first aid training (including epipen usage and CPR), fire training, and a valid NY State Drivers License.
