My name is Rod, and I live in Manhattan (since 2008). I am very interested in your job posting, having had many years of experience working as an arts educator with all ages/abilities (including adults with learning/developmental disabilities).

For the last ten years (2009-2019), I have worked with a nonprofit arts organization in NYC that provides young people from different backgrounds with arts programming that inspire them to be confident and creative; to learn and think differently. Prior to 2009, I worked for seven years as the Dept. Head of a Creative Arts program for adults with developmental disabilities.

My undergraduate degree is a B. Mus. in Education, and my graduate degree is M.Ed.

I am very kind, caring, and patient and love working and collaborating with people of differing abilities, especially with people who have an interest in the arts.
