I started babysitting when I was a child and I had to take care of my own family members that were much younger than me. That extended into babysitting all throughout highschool in which I would do the odd-job of taking care of my parents’ work friend’s children. I entirely enjoyed the responsibility and care of watching for other people. This led me to pursue certification for first-aid and CPR while in High School.
I was employed at The Performing Arts and Leadership Academy in which I was an acting instructor and caretaker. I would spend multiple hours taking care of a class room of children and well as teaching them to read and perform acts of drama. One of my classes was devoted to children of mental and social handicaps, including anxiety and the inability to read.
Now I’m currently employed with Clowns.com in which I entertain children of all ages every week with balloon animals, cotton candy, games, and a magic show.
I truly love taking care of others and I have a specific skillset of teaching and entertaining children in a professional setting.
