I am 23 years old, and originally from Fort Collins, Colorado. I moved to New York City over a year ago to complete an internship at a public health non-profit, alongside which I provided supervision for an 11 year old girl in Brooklyn. I am American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED certified. I will need to renew this certification in December 2020. I’ve babysat for various families over the last 7 years, including kiddos from ages 8 months-12. These positions have included full time nannying, date night babysitting, school pickups, and weekend/overnight child care. I love to care for children of all ages. I am so interested in each child’s unique personality, and seeing the world through their eyes! I pride myself on being a reliable and stable presence in the child’s everyday life, as well as the family’s. I know I love routine, and establishing one with the kid(s) under my care is of utmost importance. Then comes the fun! I love to just sit and chat, but also to create art of all mediums, read, write and act out our own plays, come up with new scenarios while playing with toys, and go outside.
