Hi, my name is Miura and I am a current graduate student majoring in Early Childhood Education at Teachers College, Columbia University, and working towards my teachers’ certification in General Education and Special Education (Birth to Grade 2). I am also looking to pursue my doctoral studies upon my graduation.

I have had experience caring and teaching young children as young as 4 months old up to 6 years old (Kindergarten) for over 3 years. I enjoy bringing them to the park and engage in arts and craft activities.

In my free time, I love to jog, cycle, paint, and bake. I also enjoy volunteering; I was a volunteer tutor to grade level kids in high school as well as an arts education volunteer in Harlem in grad school.
