My journey in working with children began at my local Boys & Girls Club! I became a Counselor in Training (C. I. T.) when I was 13. I helped summer camp staff with group management and worked towards ensuring that all of the group activities were engaging, fun, and safe! I worked as a C. I. T. up until the summer leading up to my junior year of high because at that time I was hired as a staff member! I have been working at the Boys & Girls Club as the Art & Crafts director ever since. I carry out structured national programs and make sure that the club members have a great time while learning. I teach both visual and performing arts; I also carry out recreational and educational activities. Also, I have experience watching infants! I work with infants and toddlers every Sunday at my church.
