Hello, I’m Megan. I am a caregiver with over four years of experience as a full-time nanny, in addition to 8 years of prior part-time work with children in multiple capacities. I’m a native New Yorker, currently living uptown; I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Child Mental Health Studies from NYU, and I hope to pursue a career in clinical psychology. I have experience caring for children in all stages of development from infancy through childhood. In my childcare work, I value connection, consistency, and fun, with a particular focus on social-emotional learning. I’m patient and passionate about my role in the lives of the people I work with. I am an upbeat, positive person, and I am comfortable working alongside a stay-at-home parent, as well as assuming the role of primary caregiver if necessary. I’m flexible, and willing to travel. I like to stay active, taking classes in dance, aerial silks and yoga whenever possible! I also love reading and exploring various neighborhoods around NYC. Currently, Im looking for part-time work to supplement my full-time position and have availability for early mornings, weekends, overnights or date nights.
