Hi there, I’m Malia!

I’m a 21-year old babysitter (and sometimes nanny) who loves to take care of kids. I’m from California, where I worked at a daycare for 4 years and supervised children of all ages. I’m comfortable with all aspects of childcare, and can tailor them to your child’s needs—I’ve done tutoring, nap & mealtime supervision, and just plain old fun and games (I love making up games with kids and keeping us all entertained for hours).

Here in the city, I’m just finishing up my last year as a Psychology major at Columbia University. My studies have allowed for additional experience working with mentally ill and special needs adolescents and young adultsI volunteered for 2 years at an inpatient unit in the city.

Along with a studied knowledge of child development, I’ll bring a sense of humor, attentive care, and the ability to cook and play guitar!
