I recently graduated from the University of Michigan last spring, and am currently taking a gap year in the city before attending medical school next year.

I am working as an 8th grade math teacher in the South Bronx, where I spend most of my time with 12- and 13-year-old students. I have previously worked as a camp counselor for middle-school-aged children, tutored elementary schoolers, and nannied for an 8-year-old boy. In addition, I have spent significant time babysitting neighborhood children of all ages since I was in early high school, and enjoy spending time with kids. I’m happy to do arts/crafts, play games/sports, and read books. I’m also a certified yoga instructor and would love to teach yoga/meditation to children.

Rate: $15/hour – $25/hour
