Hi! Im a twenty one year old student living in Spanish Harlem. Ive worked with kids for about 6 years as a camp counselor, Sunday school teacher, and volunteer. In addition to my work experience, I have two brothers (aged six and two, one of whom is on the spectrum) with whom I have a very close relationship and spend about 80% of my time with. Im very involved in their lives from birth to now and consider them to be my responsibility as well as my parents. Im dedicated to providing intellectual fun for kids and not just having them sit in front of a TV or IPad until mom and/or dad come home. This means Ill be bringing my own activities (screened by you) to hang out and spending actual time with your kids. Im also a believer in the Reggio Emilia approach to learning and development, which means that your kid(s) and I will be learning, playing, creating, and discovering things that truly interest them in a hands-on way. I hope we can get to know each other more!
