Hi! It’s Kelly, excited to meet you! I have been working with kids since I was about 14. I have a very big family, so babysitting was a must for me. Throughout college, I was a YMCA camp counselor during the summer and the off-season. I have tons of creative games and I was also a lifeguard and swim instructor. I was a Teaching Assistant at an elementary/middle school. I work alongside the 1st-grade and 6th-grade teachers to help keep the kids engaged with in-person and online learning. I made fun games, activities, and quizzes that the kids really enjoyed. I am currently a grad student working toward my MPA at Baruch College. I am very passionate about education, more specifically how we educate kids. My favorite part of being a camp counselor and a TA was thinking up fun and creative activities for my kids. I have great behavior management skills. I am patient and always lead with love. I try my best to welcome new, exciting, and sometimes challenging opportunities that come my way. I am CPR/First Aid Certified. Love animals. I have familiarity with allergies and restrictive diets. Teaching/tutoring experience.
