Hello! My name is Katie Prael and I’m a rising Junior Film and French Major at Wesleyan University. I am a native New Yorker and have been babysitting in NYC for the past five years. I have been described as friendly, creative and a problem solver which has grown since I have worked with children for many years. Working with children during my transition to adulthood has shaped me to become who I am today. I am interested in film and art and would love to implement those passions of mine with the children I work with by doing arts and crafts. Most of the past families I have worked with did not have TV in their households, so I tend to encourage the child(ren) to play with arts and crafts, puzzles or read books! I have been babysitting since I was 14 and have had a lot of experience with children of all ages. I also am an animal lover and would be happy to work with a family that has cats, dogs etc.!
