Hello! I’m Katie, and I am looking forward to meeting you! I worked at a summer camp in North Carolina for many years (2009-2017), primarily working with kids aged 5-10 and through that experience learned that kids can really teach us so much. When I moved to New York in 2017 for grad school at NYU, I took a break from childcare to focus on school, but I am looking forward to getting back into it now! Working with those children at camp was something I looked forward to all year, seeing them grow and become more independent by attending a sleepaway camp so young, as well as seeing them grow up through the years was such an enriching experience, and I am still so proud of who they have all become today.

I also taught piano while I was in high school, and guitar while working at camp, so I can lend some musical instruction to your kids.

My undergraduate degree is in Language & World Business, so I do know some conversational Spanish, and my graduate degree is in Tourism Management – my full time job is at a tour operator, where I work on operations for group tours.

I am fully vaccinated (Moderna) and will be happy to provide a copy of my vaccination card if requested.

Additional services: Laundry and Light housekeeping.
