I’ve always described myself as a “Midwestern Mary Poppins” (I’m originally from Minnesota) because I’m fun yet firm, and I love being around kids. The children I care (and have cared) for know me to be a silly, playful, and encouraging ally. I use music, art and games to encourage creative problem solving and learning and to enhance the basic enjoyment inherent to being a kid. I’ve been responsible for little ones as young as two days old but I prefer ages three and up.
