Hi my name is Jen. I am currently a college student majoring in political science and babysitting is my passion. I love being able to assist families whenever I am needed but most of all I love working with kids. I have experience in caregiving of children ranging from infants to pre-teens over the course of six years, first with the children of relatives, and neighbors, and more presently to other households in New York City. I am currently babysitting a four year old girl and I am responsible for the occasional drop off, pick-up,meal preparation, playing tons of games, reading stories, and getting her ready for bed. And I would love to provide my services for other families that need a fun, loving, responsible, and dedicated babysitter that can play with your children, take to various events, assist in extracurricular activities, and even set up play dates. I speak fluent Spanish and conversational French and have served as an assistant teacher in both public and parochial elementary schools. I believe in teaching children with love and compassion and all of the necessary characteristics for a child to grow and develop as an individual in a nurturing environment. I follow all of the parents rules and believe that everything is best in moderation. I am comfortable with various kinds of games ranging from pretend theatrical performances, arts and crafts, board games, puzzles and more.
