Write a messageHello! My name’s Heebin Im. I’m currently a full-time student at the Fashion Institute of Technology. I’ve always had a care and interest for children. I used to babysit for my neighbor’s son, getting him off the bus from school and watching him till the evening and on weekends too. I’ve been a camp counselor/ team leader for young girls at sleep away camps for the past 3 years so I know how to handle large groups of girls. I’ve gone on mission trips where I help lead a craft station at a camp, in Haiti, for over 200 girls and everything went perfectly. I love helping people in any way I can offer, that’s why I love going on mission trips. Plus, if your son/ daughter are into arts and crafts, I can definitely bring over craft supplies and plan out a little art project for them.
I’m trying to look for a babysitting job this semester because I want to get some work experience while trying to balance out my school life and to start saving up and earn while my roommate and I are apartment hunting for next year’s school year. I live on Long Island so I am reachable and can come to the city easily if I’m not dorming in the city. My biggest goal is to obviously watch over the children and help them in any way I can but to also help the parent’s relieve their stress. The last thing I would want is to put on more stress for a parent than they already have.
