As a nanny/baby-sitte, I have extensive experience in social work, working with children, and supporting mothers before, during, and after pregnancy. I am highly skilled in childrens development, learning disabilities, and caring for infants and children of all ages. I graduated with my B.A. in Psychology and Human Development from Connecticut College in May 2017. This past May I graduated with my Masters in Social Work from Columbia University. I am also a certified Mama Glow doula who supports, advocates, and cares for mothers in labor and during postpartum. My educational and professional experience allows me to understand the development of children and to provide age-appropriate learning activities. I am a very passionate, caring, and calm woman who loves being around babies and kids. I can speak Portuguese and Spanish, which I can teach your child. I can cook vegetarian meals and other meals that you may ask for. I am very flexible, understanding, compassionate, and willing to accommodate you and your family. I am currently unemployed and looking to gain more paid professional work experience with either infants, toddlers, and older children.
