In my junior year at Eugene Lang College at The New School University I enrolled in a class that took me to The “I Have A Dream” Foundation at PS7 in Harlem. In this class, I worked with kids in 3rd in 4th grade to teach them environmental lessons through theater. I enjoyed my experience so much that I extended my time there to do my thesis project with the 5th grade girls. For this project I received the Eugene Lang Civic Engagement and Social Justice Solo Project Grant. I stayed on to work at PS7 as an after school instructor there for one year. In 2017 I began working as a stage manager, prop master, and teaching artist at Brooklyn Acting Lab (BAL). My work with BAL has been with kids ages 4-15. I began babysitting in 2018 with kids ages 1 – 12. My work with kids has always been centered around creating a spage that encourages self expression through structured play and care.
