In addition to being a caretaker for my large family of cousins of all ages, I have also spent many years teaching and organizing arts education outreach for middle and high school, to help students realize their potential in the arts and expose them to higher education. On the high school level, I have coached children in performance, as well as directed many show with young people. In high school, I volunteered at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, as well as a soccer league for children with autism, which gave me an understanding of how to support children with varying sets of needs with joy and empathy. I am passionate about supporting children in finding their voice to become independent, motivated, and empathetic adults. I currently live alone on the UWS and am very stringent in terms of COVID, so I promise to give care that is consistent and safe.
