The oldest of four, I grew up in Manhattan in a lively and youthful household. From a young age, I enjoyed the task of babysitting my siblings as well as their friends. As I grew up, I expanded the client-base. The connections I managed to form with them inspired me to study psychology at Brandeis University (where I currently attend), with the hopes of one day becoming a child psychologist. Through empathy and humor, I manage to connect with children on a unique level. I pride myself in being creative, and enjoy coming up with entertaining ways to encourage them to do homework or devising engaging activities. I was able to put these skills to use as a camp counselor at Camp Yavneh for 10-11 year olds. Aside from babysitting I’d be happy to be a homework helper. I’m fluent in Hebrew, proficient in French and strong in writing and history, although I can help with all subjects. I spent the year before college in South Tel Aviv, where I tutored refugees in English and other elementary subjects. Through patience and consistent encouragement, I succeeded in having my students achieve their goals.
