I believe quite strongly in the positive change that knowing an adult with ASD can initiate, and truly intend to spend the rest of my life working towards expanding the opportunities kids have to know and work with people just like them. I was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder when I was in the 3rd grade – as somebody who would have benefited enormously from working with teachers and advocates on the spectrum, I hope to better draw together my skills, experiences, and ideas in hopes of furthering my ability to expand outreach to children with autism.
