Hello! My name is Daniella Donzelli Scorza, a student at Barnard College of Columbia University.

For three years in high school, I babysat two boys ages 6 and 8, picking them up from school, cooking them dinner, chaperoning them to soccer practices, and tutoring them in elementary Math, English, Science, and Spanish.

I am very passionate about working with youth and I understand the importance of education. Inspired by my mother’s work as a children’s museum curator, I hope to ignite a trusting and positive relationship with kids through creativity and learning. As part of the Center for Youth Leadership activism club in my high school, I organized and attended various arts and crafts sessions with young children at a refugee center in Bridgeport, CT, as well as holiday activities such as gingerbread house making at the Stamford, CT Boys and Girls Club. At the Silvermine Art Center’s summer camp, I was a teacher assistant for young artists ages 5-10 for two years where I helped plan daily itineraries with the art teacher, read books to students, and helped assist in all art projects the students created.

I am a very organized, friendly, respectful, and cheerful person and am always prompt for any assistance needed. Reliability is an important factor for any job position and is crucial for childcare – through my professional background and experiences, this factor has been honed.
