My name is Daniel Barrett. I am originally from Los Angeles, California. I recently graduated from the University of Miami with Honors in May of 2018. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Theatre. During my time growing up in California, I babysat for family friends, and teachers. I worked as Jr. Camp counselor at a theatre day camp for children ages 8 to 14. A couple years later as a college student, I spent several summers as a camp counselor, director of theatre programs, and camp staff member, where I worked closely with children ages 7 to 17. This camp was an overnight camp in California. I served as an in cabin counselor, and theatre director/ instructor. During my senior year of college, I was hired as the Frost Preparatory School of Music Teacher for the once a week Musical Theatre course. This consisted of weekly classes, games, and performances with students ages 7 to 17. In addition to these professional experiences I have spent time looking after, and caring for children within my family and for close friends. I love the arts, I love children, and I am very eager to create more experiences in now that I am here in New York City! :)
