Hi there! I am a math teacher certified in grades 7-12. I am just finishing up my forth year teaching and have a lot of experience working with a variety of diverse students. I taught high school Algebra for my first two years of teaching and most recently I have been teaching 7th and 8th grade math for the past two years. I love being a teacher and getting the opportunity to work with students in many different capacities. I have taught summer school 5 years in a row and have being the advisor for National Honor Society and offer after school tutoring for English Language Learners.

Beyond my responsibilities as a teacher, I love getting to connect with students outside the school building. This year I have been working with a few students during tutoring. Some students I tutor are former students who have graduate middle school and are now in high school, and some students I have connected with had never met till our first tutoring session! Regardless, it is my goal to connect and support all my students in feeling more confident with material. I love being able to work one-on-one with students and get to know them as both mathematician and people. These connections are incredibly important to continued success!

I feel I have unique capabilities to meeting your needs as a baby sitter because I have a wide range of teaching experiences. I have high school math and am currently working at a middle school teaching math. I love working with children of all ages! I have worked as a camp counselor for many years before being a teacher for children aged 4-12.
