Hello Everyone!
I am Ashley and I am currently enrolled at the City College of New York. I am a double major, doing Biology and Psychology. I absolutely enjoy the sciences, and hope to pursue medicine as a pediatrician in the future. I absolutely enjoy working with the little ones, as it brings me a sense of purpose I worked as a paraprofessional for 3 years for the Department of Education. I took on being both a full time student and employee. There, I worked with children who have neurological disorders (Autism, ADD, ADHD etc.). I was a teacher’s aide, so I learned a lot about how children learn, and how we, as educators, can impact their lives. While there, I worked with a wide range of children, from toddlers to 18 year olds. I also have extensive experience working with children who are on the autism spectrum. Unfortunately, as my education endeavors continue, I have since resigned from that job. As I graduate within next year, I decided to focus mainly on school.
My passion for working with children though is very much still alive, and so taking care of your little ones is definitely something I won’t take lightly. I understand completely the need of trust when asking someone to watch over your angels. I have worked with parents for many years and I learned a lot about what it means to meticulously watch over children for numerous hours. When I worked as a teacher’s aide, when parents leave our classroom, we have full responsibility of their children from 8 am to pick up hours, so if you are looking for someone to trust and ensure your child’s safety, I am the one for the job. :)
I am the oldest of 3. Growing up, I had to babysit my siblings a lot because my parents worked long hours. I do have a lot of personal experience with toddlers and babies. Throughout the years, I have been taking care of my younger cousins, and all of which adds to my experience working with children. As I grew up in a Caribbean household, I am able to do house cleaning, and cooking. Also, if your children are in need of homework or tutoring help, I can provide that service. I hope you consider me to watch over your little ones :)

Overnight: Saturday.
