Hi Families! My name is Ashley. I am 19 years old. I am a very easygoing person with a positive outlook on life. On my free time I enjoy reading, writing, taking walks, cooking and traveling. I am currently enrolled into a GED program. After receiving my diploma, Id like to further my education in Early Childhood Education and open my own day care business. I have a certificate in Early Childhood Development. I come from a big family of 11 children and I am the second oldest. Since young Ive cared for my siblings and they have taught me to have a lot of patience and Ive learned a lot from them. I have worked with children all ages from newborn to grade school. I also have experience of caring for children with special needs. I am passionate about caring for children. I enjoy encouraging kids to be creative with activities such as painting, drawing, reading, exploring outside, singing and dancing and role play. The experience, environment, adults, as well as surroundings are what shape them into who they become. I feel our responsibility as parents, babysitters and teachers to provide children with the best possible education, knowledge , and choices so they are able to grow to their maximum potential. Every child I take care of is a new childcare experience I acquire. I look forward to meeting your family!
