Hello, My name is Aliza and I am a 23 year old recent college grad. I majored in philosophy form the University of Michigan, with an interest in ethics. I started mother’s helping at 11, caring for kids while their parents got tasks done around the house. In 2011, I completed a weeklong extensive American Red Cross babysitting course. There I was also certified in CPR/AED +Child-Infant, Standard first aid, and Pet First Aid. I have babysat on and off throughout high school and college, and it is something truly enjoy. . I babysat for one child in particular for 5 years. Additionally, I have experience with children with special needs, (ADHD, intellectual disability ASD, etc.). I assisted with a 5th grade class for a time specifically working with AIG and EC children, as well as working with children with special needs in those classes. I have completed an independent study project on Preschooler’s cognitive development where I compared Piaget’s and Vygotsky’s methods on early learning and how that was implemented in local preschools I believe in understanding children as individuals and I think one of the most important things I can pass on to children is a lifelong interest in learning, and the importance of kindness. I have a flexible schedule, I am compassionate, respectful, intelligent, and resourceful. I am looking for a family with young children who need occasional to frequent (a few times a month to a few times a week) babysitting.
