Hi, my name is Ali and I am interested in being your family’s future babysitter! I graduated from NYU with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology and have worked with children and families as a babysitter, researcher, tutor, and clinical student in training for many years. I’ve always been told I’m good with children. I started babysitting 9 years ago and quickly got offered more jobs as families referred me to their friends (even friend’s across the country!). As such, I have worked with children ranging from infancy to adolescence, and have experience and training working with kids with various disabilities. I can responsibly take care of an entire group of kids, or just one. Whether we are doing homework (I also tutor), playing a game, or cooking dinner, your child’s comfort and safety is my number one priority. I am responsible, attentive, and kind, and great at balancing fun while abiding by the household rules. As a past psychology student and current course assistant for Developmental Psychology, I am not only fascinated by the development of a child’s mind and personality, but also am attentive to ways to best foster your child’s development.
