Hello! I recently graduate from Indiana University with an art education degree. I have always found myself drawn to working with children and helping them grow into exceptional humans. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than to see a child light up when the learn something new. I am very passionate about children learning hands on in day to day fun activities that are both mentally and physically stimulating. I have worked many years babysitting and nannying for families and caring for their children. These jobs included tasks like cooking and cleaning as well as working one on one with the children to make them feel comfortable when they are away from their parents. As through my major I have worked in multiple schools with children of all ages. My passion is creating art with students and allowing their minds to flourish through creativity and I find art making can be beneficial in learning any subject hands on. I enjoy reading with children as well as getting them outside for some physical activity. I have a calm, nurturing, and positive attitude that works well with children to get them excited about whatever they are doing. I am also a firm believer in positive reinforcement as a method of teaching children behavior etiquette. I am available full time as needed and hope to get the chance to help your children grown and learn while in my care.
