Hi! My name is Aja, and I am originally from Maine, but I live in New York City on the Upper East Side, and I am a junior in college at Marymount Manhattan studying Theatre History and Gender Studies. I have no classes on Wednesday and Friday, and my weekends are available as well, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I worked at a daycare in Maine for 6 years caring for children ages 3 months to 10 years, and I spend my summers at home nannying for families. Working with children has always been a passion of mine. I have taken a babysitting course and a first aid course as well. I am studying in the arts field, so I love to sing, dance, draw, visit museums, and create art with children. I believe that art and being creative is so important for the development of a child. I am also a very active person who enjoys being outside. I am also more than willing to do housework (laundry, dishes, vacuuming… etc.), meal prep, and run errands for you as well.
