My interest in teaching links back to my teenage years, when I took care of my youngest sister in my hometown. In order to deal with my with special needs toddler sister, I started to seek variety activities and methods to impact upon her behavior. I used positive interaction to the child because it was successful and useful.
Approximately at that same time, I started my music school on piano lesson. My music school and high school I graduated with advanced proficient grades. Then, I graduated a Music College in piano pedagogy and keyboard skills. Due to my musical education, I became more patient, self-directed, and optimistic. I improved my authenticity and decisiveness. After my graduation from Music College, I worked in an elementary school as a music teacher. I was responsible for organizing holidays. I taught young children to sing songs, basic dance movements, and play on some childrens musical instruments.
I am easy-going and sociable with diverse ages and cultures. When I
immigrated to the US, I have strengthened my self-control skills, due to new
changes in my life. I work for about eleven years as a home health aide in
Brooklyn with elderly community. I help my clients to cope with their loneliness and disabilities. I support them emotionally and care for their well-being. I worked as a teacher assistant in Block Institute, a school for children with variety of disabilities. My responsibilities were providing direct supervision and support of children with developmental disabilities. Participate in activities that are developmentally appropriate, engaging, and enjoyable for the children with disabilities, while maintaining their safety and well-being at all times. Attending to all necessary needs of the children we served, including but not limited to: toileting, feeding, dressing, health, social-emotional, cognitive, physical, and behavioral. Providing a calm, safe, and structural experience through implementation of daily activity plans.
I worked in Head start program as a teacher with children from low income
families. All children in the school were encouraged to draw, paint, map, label, talk what they are doing as a further extension of their activities. They were constantly involved into literacy and early math skills as learning letter-sound
correspondences, practicing writing skills, counting, and so on.
