Bessa I.

My name is Bessa, I was born and raised in Albania and came to New York about 20 years ago with my husband to start a new life for my children. I love to cook and play around with new recipes in the kitchen. I love walks on the beach/boardwalks with my family and spending warm days outside with nature. When I first came to New York, I did not have my mother or any friends to guide me in motherhood so childcare was something very new and a bit intimidating to me. To my surprise, childcare came quite naturally to me. It explains why at one point my next door neighbors all around our neighborhood started asking me to babysit their children because they saw on a day to day basis how careful and responsible I was with my children. After babysitting children of a few friends, I would get recommended and the list went on. I was very well trusted and I started to allow it to be how I got money on the side. Now that my daughters are a bit older, I have more time to spend on myself and take up more hours now that I have a more flexible schedule. What makes me different from any other babysitter is that any child that falls into my hands, I will look after him/her as if they were my very own. You can put your complete trust in me, because being a mother I understand how hard it is to just trust anyone with your babies.
