Hii :) My name is Kyia. I am a Bronx native. Most of my work experience has been with children from infants-Middle schoolers. I started babysitting as my first job when I was 12 years old, which included, family members and family friends. When I was in high school I interned with an Elementary school, teaching first graders how to read and write efficiently. I currently work in a school that holds grades K-8th, while I do work as a secretary, I also hold an After-School program in order for students to gain help with homework. I enjoy working with kids and helping them expand their mind, whilst enjoying life. I grew up with my parents always making sure we had time to express ourselves, and I feel that is very important within children. I am a proactive and fast paced person which is always needed when working with kids. Since I am currently working I am interested in babysitting on the weekends or after 7PM on weekdays, which I would eventually like to make permeant.
