My passion for early childhood education began to grow in 2008 when I joined a summer youth program in a shelter home/daycare where I worked with preschool-aged children who were homeless. I pursued my Associates degree in Human Services. I also have my Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology after experiencing being an ABA instructor to children with autism and down syndrome. I enjoy every aspect of teaching and learning. I am very dedicated to the social, physical and emotional development of each child in my care. I have spread my love and care for children by contributing to the infants early learning development in my classroom as a former infant teacher and babysitting part-time. I believe that there is something new to learn each day and that the early stages of development are the most essential and shape who we become in the future. With my optimistic and congenial personality, children gravitate towards me giving me the ability to form secured relationships with the children in my care. I hope to make a difference and grow within a positive and nurturing environment.
