Faynou S.

Hello! My name is Faynou, but everyone calls me Fay. I just recently moved from PA to New York. I was born in Burkina Faso, a French-speaking country located in West Africa, and relocated to the USA in 2006 with my parents and seven siblings.
I love caring for children! Growing up, people always told me that I was good with children. Throughout my high school and college years, I worked at multiply daycare’s and Pre-K; I also did private babysitting on the side for family members. In high school, I used to work for a community called Urban Nutrition Initiative, a nonprofit organization that specializes in teaching kids from Pre-K to 12 grades how to cook healthy food and eat well.
I also have a nonprofit called ’Hope for the Future". I started the nonprofit to help children in Africa from low-income families with school fees and school supplies.
I have a super positive, upbeat personality. I love teaching others what I know. I like to hang out with my friends, dance, watch Netflix, and travel. Being a babysitter has allowed me to meet people from all walks of life and broaden my horizon and way of thinking. Fun Fact: I am fluent in French (I am sure you already guessed that :)).
