First, I would like to thank you for taking time to view my profile. My name is Emina and I’m 36 years old, originally from Bosnia. I have BS in teaching and getting my BS in Accounting at Hunter College. Also, i’m a dog mom :) I came to US in 2009 as an Au Pair and worked 2 years in Stamford, CT for Segal Family. Took care of their 2 children (girl 2.5, boy 5). My duty was to cook for them, get them ready for school, help them with their homework, drive them to their activities, play, organize their rooms and engage them in helping me cleaning up after their meals, or putting the toys away. 2011/2012 – worked 1 year as a Nanny for single mom in Stamford, CT. Took care of her child (girl 10), 4 dogs (2 Shih Tzus, 2 Australian Shepherds), managed cleaning whole house and cooking for them. 2012/2020 – worked 8 years as Nanny and personal assistant for family in Rye, NY who recently moved to Harrison, NY. Took care of their children (girl 7, boy 9), 1 dog. I was responsible for getting them ready for school, preparing their meals, driving them to school, helping them with homework if they need one, mostly their parents wanted them to work on it independently, driving them to their activities, playing with them, teaching them to be responsible and helping me with dishwasher, their laundry and anything i could engage them to do. Their parents wanted me to be more strict with them so they can grow into responsible people. Also, i would do some grocery shopping if needed, help with errands. Sometimes I would sleepover if parents needed to travel somewhere without children. During all this time i’ve been babysitting for other families, volunteering at FoodBank and helping during Tax season, volunteering at NY Cares (usually going to shelters and taking dogs for a walk). My passion is meditation, gardening, running, spending time with my dog, cooking, reading. References upon request.
