I have taken care of my sister who has down syndrome for the majority of my life. As a result of this I am accustom to keeping to a tight schedule and maintaining patience. During high school, I was a volunteer teachers assistance for my local parish’s Sunday school in which I would help children to focus, learn about the catholic faith through creative and formal educational means. Throughout High school I was a school tutor through the National Honors Society. Not only have I taken care of individuals throughout my life but I have also assisted in caring for animals. Whenever a close friend of mine and her family go out of town, I care for their dog and cat. I have always enjoyed caring and communicating with others. Along with caring for animals and children, I am capable of household cleaning. As my mother is a housekeeper, I would often go to work with her where she taught me how to proper tend to a home.
