The Alabama Department of Human Resources offers Programs of the Family Assistance Division. It offers cash assistance for low-income families with kids under the age of 18. Eligible parents must be enrolled in secondary school or hold a full time job. The program’s assistance is temporary and meant to help in-need families get on their feet and find a more sustainable system for child care payments. Visit the Alabama Department of Human Resources for more information.
