I am a recent graduate of Kean University with a BA in Psychology. In 2012, I was a full time teacher assistant for The Goddard School, as well as, a full time teacher assistant at The Learning Experience working with children ages 1 to 3. As a teacher's assistant, I helped support the lead teacher with attendance, lesson plans, arts & crafts, cleaning, meal prep, nap time, potty training/diaper changing, and constant communication with parents. I was also responsible for watching 5-6 children at a time during the after care program. The reason why I chose to work with children is simply because I love kids! It brings joy to my heart knowing that I'm contributing to the growth of a child. Seeing their faces when they discover and learn about the world around them is the most rewarding feeling.
