At Nikkis Christian Daycare Center we believe the best atmosphere for learning is one of acceptance, encouragement, mutual respect, fairness, consistency, and enjoyment learning should be fun! We know a predictable, organized environment with caring adults, clear expectations and appropriate consequences supports the whole child. Since early childhood development is a process that is continually changing and expanding, our children are offered structured and unstructured opportunities to learn, grow, explore and discover. Children are presented with age-appropriate activities to foster their physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual growth and development. Our teachers are taught to view the outdoor play environment as an extension of the classroom filled with endless opportunities to lead absorbing young minds to new discoveries. The mission of our center is not to babysit your children but we see ourselves as your partner in early childhood education, helping you lay a solid foundation. We consider the family as an integral part of our program and have instituted a system of daily communication to facilitate our partnership. We believe wholeheartedly that as we empower young minds we will be strengthening families.
