Peppermint Pattys Day Care & Preschool

A small center like Peppermint Pattys allows teachers to emphasize academic programs for youngsters age 1 to 5, individualizing education to each child as needed. Our morning structure focuses on school academic readiness, while our afternoons encourage free play with age appropriate activities.
Playground
Our outdoor play space is larger than any center in the metro area. We have wooden playhouses, climbing structures, a swing, a bridge, sliding poles as well as climbing and balancing chains. The children ride trikes on an asphalt path to learn appropriate traffic patterns and manners, play basketball and have an abundant amount of grass space to play kickball or soccer and run.
Imagination Garden
Learning also takes place in our outdoor garden. The children plant, grow, tend and harvest the vegetables, then enjoy them at the lunch table throughout the summer. Lessons take place right in the middle of the labrynth, a 9 × 9 space immersed within the plants.
