We believe that children learn best through their first hand sensory
experiences of feeling, listening, tasting, smelling, and observing.
Children need to handle, manipulate, experiment, and explore; while they
also need and expect certain guidelines, rules, and routines in order to feel
safe and secure.
Our school uses Georgia Early Learning Standards, Bright from the Start.
The Bright from the Start program reflects the overall goals of Garden
Lakes Baptist Church Preschool. This material is designed to provide
opportunities for children to learn about Gods world and how to live in
it.
Activities include circle time, art projects, outside play, and music. In
addition to the daily classroom routine, planned by each teacher, our
program also includes chapel services, and activities in the churchs
childrens library.
