Creative Children's Korner

Creative Childrens Korner (CCK) is one of the first established nursery schools in Ridgefield, Connecticut. It has been serving families from South Salem, Redding and Ridgefield for over 43 years. Founded by Ethelyn Pinchbeck in 1967, it is a nursery school commited to help our children seek a foundation for a happy and successful life.

Our goal at CCK is to build a childs self confidence and increase his or her awareness of the world. It is our belief that with self confidence and awarness a child is better equiped to accept the challenges which he or she will meet on a daily basis, thus promoting a healthy attitude toward new experiences and fostering a life-long love of learning.

At CCK we believe a hands-on approach of learning best achieves these goals. We have developed a curriculum of well planned activities that meets the child at his or her level of interest and ability. Our caring and attentive teachers provide opportunities for each child to discover at his or her own pace. We encourage our children to be inquisitive and to want to learn the why and how as well as the “what”.
