At C.A.R.E. Child Development Center each child is special and unique. Our center concentrates on the development of the whole child – socially physically emotionally intellectually and spiritually.

Building on the philosophy of the whole child. C.A.R.E. CDC draws curriculum from areas such as the arts music language expression visual/auditory perception large and fine motor skills Bible concepts math and science and social awareness.

We emphasize God as the creator of the universe Provider and Sustainer of all that is good; an active loving God who knows our needs and provides each one.

C.A.R.E. CDC feels that parents are the most important adults in a child’s life and we encourage the involvement of parents in our program. We strive to keep parents informed through teacher conferences monthly newsletters posted notes telephone calls and the teaching staff is the cornerstone of our program. Each child has access to a trained experienced adult who believes in God and looks for opportunities to teach his or her students about him.

Each staff member is carefully interviewed selected and made aware of the center’s expectations. Each staff member is evaluated and rewarded on a regular basis.

C.A.R.E. CDC understands that it is crucial to the development of the young child to be given opportunities to explore and learn in a variety of spaces. We feel the individual classrooms two fenced-in playgrounds and our on-site gymnasium provide space for safe and well-planned experiences necessary for the preschool child.

C.A.R.E. CDC knows the health of each child is of the utmost importance. We feel that a program to prevent illness is essential. This is why we require immunizations kept current regular health statements good hygiene practices from our staff and limitations on the attendance of sick children. Nutritional requirements for the children are met daily by providing breakfast two snacks and a hot lunch.

Safety is also of critical importance. Each child is under constant supervision by an adult who is involved in ongoing training in emergency procedures first aid dispensing of medication and safety awareness. Also C.A.R.E. CDC will not release a child to anyone other than a parent unless that person is listed in the child’s permanent file or the parent has signed a permission slip.

Evaluations are necessary to insure continual growth and improvement. Goals and philosophy are reviewed annually; the director and staff are evaluated on their effectiveness; and children are evaluated to make sure their developmental needs are being met.
